About Polliance
Position and intent
Polliance exists to hold ground where thinking must remain open without dissolving into ambiguity.
It is not a platform for ideas, but a place of stewardship for work that cannot yet be finalised without loss of meaning.
Polliance does not aim to grow. It does not aim to publish. It does not aim to convince.
Its purpose is preservation of coherence until release becomes appropriate.
What Polliance carries
Polliance carries Polarism. Not as doctrine, not as a closed theory, but as an ongoing inquiry into ordering, relation, and coherence in reality and in systems.
This inquiry:
- precedes models and frameworks
- resists premature articulation
- unfolds through use rather than exposition
Polliance safeguards the conditions under which this inquiry can continue without being instrumentalised.
How Polliance works
Polliance operates through:
- collective stewardship
- disciplined restraint
- refusal of premature closure
- protection against simplification
Its work is not measured in output, but in the absence of distortion as applications multiply elsewhere.
Polliance is effective when it remains largely invisible.
Origin and stewardship
Polliance was initiated by Frank Schalkwijk. Not as owner of the work, but as initiator and steward of coherence across its emergence.
His role is not directive. It is custodial.
Polliance is not a personal project. It is a shared holding structure that prevents foundational work from becoming proprietary or fragmented.
Polliance exists to safeguard coherence until it can be released without loss.
